I’m sure you see sad stories every day in your line of work so I thought I’d share this happy ending for Storm (now named Zoe), the tiny black little kitty who according to her file, was found in a box in the North Bay Humane Society’s parking lot back in August, then transferred to the Western Quebec SPCA in October until I adopted her on October 23rd. Although she was very dirty and didn’t look super healthy at first, after a month in her new home, she is looking great, got a clean bill of health from the vet, she constantly purrs like a diesel tractor and as you can see, she and my other cat instantly became best friends. Thank you for caring for abandoned pets, this is proof that a second chance is out there for these poor creatures and this wonderful kitty who has been through hell is now very happy in her forever home!
