I¹ve adopted Trishka (aka Tikka) in March 2020 while I was grieving my other dog, Nook who passed away in February of this year. I couldn't resist that cutie pie. My other dog Mya the golden retriever was not too impressed with her, though. But I was confident they would finally get along. Unfortunately Mya died of a heart failure two weeks later. I was devastated, in tears and mad as hell. So unfair to lose two beloved dogs in such short period of time. Poor Trishka came in the saddest home she couldn't wish for. I was unable to get attached to her, I was too afraid and bitter. Being a dog lover as I am, I took good care of her despite my lack of attachment toward her. I fed her, walked her, pet her and let her sleep with me. But my heart was too hurt to feel.

That clever, adorable and patient little angel found a way to walk into my heart. Today, I can say that I¹m in love with her. She is soooo sweet, so playful, so affectionate and strong, she has all my admiration. I wouldn¹t trade her for anything. I¹m the luckiest person to have her. She is mine for life.
