          It's been three
weeks since Tica joined our family here in Natick,
MA.  Since that time I've been working everyday to make
her feel more comfortable and secure in her new surroundings.  Her
progress so far has been nothing short of amazing.  She mastered going
up and down the steps on the very first day.  By the end of the week
she was walking comfortably on lead and we've even started to
add short runs to her exercise program which she thoroughly enjoys.
And in spite of a few accidents (my fault, not hers) her house
training skills continue to improve, too.  Finally, her trip to my vet
was filled with lots of hugs and kisses as my vet just recently had to
put her own Doberman down after 13 years and was thrilled to have her
as a new patient.  She'll be going in for X-Rays in two weeks to make
sure her hips are able to handle going on long runs w/ me.

          Her days are spent
going to my exercise studio to be around as many people as possible.
Most of the time she either sleeps, plays w/ her toys, or just watches
the silly humans struggle to lift weights.  I simply can't
understand why someone would mistreat such a wonderful creature.
She's smart, sensitive, loving, and gives great kisses too!  I'd like
to extend a huge Thank You to everyone in your organization.  I feel
very fortunate that Tica has made her way into my life.

          Regards,

          Derck S.
