Tex's
birthday is July 1. He will be 8 years old. I know he does
not like the thunder so the fireworks will be a no-show. Tex and
I met last
August (08) and now he is in his forever home. I tell him we'll
grow old
together.
We go
for long walks up at Bruce Pit. He is very social and will sit
by any friendly person's feet for a head massage. (I'm a little
envious.) Tex has been to work with me (seniors) and of course
he is very popular.
As you
can tell he is very fluffy; I have learned that he loves to be brushed
and many times he has been complimented for his beautiful coat.
Tex is curious about the neighbourhood cats (special mention to
Fluffy) but unfortunately they want nothing to do with him.
He is
a good informant dog, letting me know when someone is close by the
outside gate and even one day it happened to be a bumblebee.
"Thanks Tex".
We
often attend dog rescues' fundraisers because we want to show our
support and appreciation.
I
hope that one day the family that had to surrender Tex will know that
he is doing well and he is a wonderful dog.
