          We
are really enjoying having Spezza .... he brings such pleasure to us
(my husband and 12 year old granddaughter).  He is very well-behaved,
never gets on the table or countertops.

(Spezza likes to lay with his head on the scratching pad.  He seems to
prefer having his head elevated when sleeping.  He really doesn't use
this pad for scratching but as a pillow.)

We
enjoy watching him drink from his water dish as he puts his right paw
in the water and then scoops up water into his mouth.  He has a
stainless steel water bowl so when he looks into the bowl, he sees his
face (it takes him a long time to drink as he likes to look at himself
.... ha!).  He is very vocal and when we are looking for him, just
call his name and he lets out a 'throaty sound' so we easily find
          him.

(Spezza in his bed.  He slept in the bed for about 3-4 days and that
was it.  He is taking turns trying out all the areas for sleeping
..... he's like Goldilocks in the fairy tale .... trying all the
sleeping places trying to decide which is most comfortable.)

He has a special place in our hearts as he was rescued in Iqaluit and
that is where our granddaughter is from so we have two members of our
family from the North.  Many thanks to the SPCA of Western Quebec for
caring for Spezza until we found him.

          Cheers,

          Connie, John and Maggie

(Spezza loves to sit with his front paws over the arm of a chair.)
