We had to put our dog Ruffles down back in February and we weren't planning on getting another dog till the summer but we knew we couldn't last till the summer.

We adopted our beagle/Jack Russell puppy known at the shelter as Peter and renamed him RJ (Ruffles junior).

RJ now has two parents and a brother and sister who love him very much.  He
is very spoiled and likes to burrow his way under the covers, and he gets
jealous when people hug.  He's a very rambunctious puppy who loves life, and he loves to give kisses any chance he gets.

He's also very good at staring contests, we have them all the time.  He's such a lovable and cuddly dog and we're so happy to have him in our lives.
