Odie has been a wonderful addition to our family and a great buddy for our other 8 yr old dachshund Joey. From the moment he arrived home, it was as though he always belonged. Being a 4 yr old adult, there was no training required, as he knew to ask to go outside when need be. We even learned that he knew a trick or two and could sit pretty for treats. Odie has been such great company for our older dachshund and they have become such a bonded pair. I am so happy that we found him and rescued him over the July long weekend, as the horrific fire at the shelter unfortunately took the lives of several amazing pets waiting for their forever home and we adopted little Odie just in time, as the news of the fire came the day after we brought our little angel home. The shelter staff are wonderful and really make a difference, working diligently to match up families with the perfect pet, to give each one a new beginning. Keep up the great work that you do!
