Morgan

Morgie is the 'best dog ever dog'.  She has a lovely character.  She's great with our grandkids.  She is strongly prey driven, a really good hunter (yikes - a bird, two squirrels and a lot of mice so far) and needs a LOT of exercise which she gets from Chris, of course.  I take her out too a bit. Our yard is fenced so she patrols that too and chases away the squirrels and rabbits.

I love her to bits and am so very grateful you gave me a chance to adopt her.

She's NOT allowed on the couch.  She is allowed on her window perch.  She has three baskets and comes with us to work.  She has an AMAZING sense of smell and is gentle and sweet and wonderful.

Update June '20

Morgan brings us a lot of joy and love.  I walk her in the mornings in the woods on the way to work.  She comes to work with us and we work on a river.  :)  She sleeps under my desk and Chris takes her for a swim most days. He walks her for a long walk in the evenings and for a couple of hours on Saturdays and Sundays.  She is a very healthy loving dog and rules the roost in the backyard.  Chris has spent hours working with her and she is a wonderful dog.    She's one of those dogs that knows when you're sad or upset.  She comes and licks your face and glasses and sticks her nose in your ear.  This is very effective at changing your mood into laughter!

She misses our grandkids.  I think she considers them part of the pack because she's very excited when she sees them.  She is very obedient to our younger grandchild and falls in with all her plans.  When she has had enough, she heads to one of her safe spots.

We're very lucky and still grateful for having the luck to have her.

She is very much a bird dog/hunting dog with a ton of energy and strength. These pics are of one of her swims.  When she headed back to shore, the geese followed her!

Update November '20

Morgan continues to live a life of complete bliss.  :)  Chris and I were saying this morning that we can't think of another dog that has had her needs so exactly meant.  That's another way to say 'nearly spoiled'!

She still gets two good walks a day and a ton of running.  She's very healthy and absolutely loves it when we meet our grandkids for a distanced walk together.  She guards the youngest and is pretty obedient to both children.  (age 9 & 6)

Best wishes to everyone and thank you again!  I did 2 km with family and Morgan on Sunday.  When we got her I was relearning how to walk - so this is pretty wonderful.
