We adopted Maya in mid-December 2007. She was 3.5 months old at the time and our kids were just thrilled when we brought her home. She has settled into our home very nicely and has become an important part of our family.
Shortly after we adopted Maya, we enrolled her in puppy obedience
classes and found out that she was a very clever girl who seemed to
thrive on the interaction of training. Having passed puppy obedience
training, and with Maya’s quick learning and eagerness to perform, we
have enrolled Maya in intermediate classes and have also just started
Maya in agility training. Although she has just started, she seems to
really enjoy the agility classes and the attention she gets for all
her clever tricks. I am happy to say that Maya has become a very
well mannered puppy for the most part and the kids adore her!
With 3 boys in the house, Maya gets lots of attention and playtime and seems to enjoy being part of a busy active household. Maya has lots of energy and loves being outdoors. She enjoys her daily walks and especially loves her off leash romps in the off leash parks in the area. Maya is very sociable and loves people and other dogs.
Finding Maya and having her as a part of our family has been wonderful. Maya is turning out to be a very sweet and loving (not to mention smart!) girl and already I cannot imagine our family without her. We hope that Maya has a very long and happy life with our family. Maryann
