Maggie has settled in and we are the best of friends :-). She is the
best hugger ever, and the greeting I get when I return from being out
grocery shopping, etc. is crazy! I have never had a dog show SO much
love! We spent Christmas at a cottage with my sons and my eldest’s 2
dogs. Maggie had a great time playing with the standard poodle. They
have the same energy level!
You
can see in one of the pics that I attached that she is no longer
afraid of my cat. She loves to go for runs with me and she always
sleeps with me. We wrestle sometimes (she is learning to watch her
teeth lol!) and she often jumps up on my lap when I am sitting on a
chair. She has gone from a very fearful girl to a playful and
affectionate friend. I know that a series of events had to take place
in order for Maggie to end up with me, and I just feel so lucky that
they all happened. She has helped me as much as I help her. I was so
heartbroken after my Leo died and Maggie has been very comforting. I
still miss Leo but Maggie is always ready to give me a hug :-). Thanks
for what you do!
Update January ‘21
She
has been enjoying winter in her new winter jacket. She loves to run
and jump in the snow and chase snow balls. She is quite an energetic
girl now that she has come out of her shell. I imagine this is quite
a climate change from being in Kentucky but she seems to be enjoying
it.
The
blanket picture is after her outdoor playtime lol!
