Bailey AKA Macky is doing great in his new home. His big sister Mia is
keeping a close eye on him. She lets him sleep in her huge bed and
Macky shares his puppy cage with Mia. He spends hours outside running
around
with her. A couple of pictures of our beloved pup with Mia.

Hi SPCA,
Just wanted to drop a note to say how happy I am in my forever home. I
have to start with my big sister Mia, she is great to play with. We
have lots of toys and she does not mind sharing. We can run around for
hours. At times she gets rough and mom has to call for a time out. Mia
understands time out and settles down quite quickly. We are the best
of friends and she is a fantastic big sister. She even lets me sleep
in all of her cozy doggy beds.
Let me tell you: farm chores are exhausting.!! I follow my new mom and
dad around as they feed the horses, wow!! are they ever big. I'm
normally on a leash for my safety untill we all get to be friends. I
even have a kitten the same age as me in the barn (Charlie), we love
to play together ... OK let me rephrase that, I love to play with him,
him not so much but I'm sure in time he will learn to love me. Still
not sure about the chickens, they freak me out.
I am 90% house trained and stayed a whole 6 hours in my crate without
any accidents. I'm getting to be a big boy. I sleep in the bed with
mom while dad is gone out of town. Somebody has to protect her. I only
wake her up once during the night to go outside and then go right back
to sleep.
That's all for now. Thank you for taking care of me when I was with
you.
Update October '16
It's
been two years this week since we took Macky home. He is the
farm/house tornado. Keeps his fur sister Mia on her toes. I cannot
imagine life without him. He is always the life of the party. We love
him dearly even his fur sister Mia (even if she won't admit it). This
said, every week I see on FB all the dogs and cats that have forever
homes because of your dedication to them. BRAVO!! to you all. I have
included a few pictures of Macky enjoying the farm life and the other
one just posing for the camera.
Update April '18
Hello to all the wonderful staff at the SPCA. 3 1/2 years ago Macky
chose me and became part of our family. He is all grown up now at 3
years of age soon to be 4. He is quite the athlete and will be taking
agility courses next month. Macky is a true mama's boy and I love him
just like that. As much as he adores running in the woods and join us
on sleigh rides, he also is a great cuddler. He still drives his older
fur sister Mia crazy but that's just him. Thank you for all the great
work and dedication the SPCA team puts into saving these animals.
Hat's off to all of you.
