We are so thrilled with our new doggy! We adopted a male x-shepherd/lab on Tuesday night with Jennifer. He is settling in well and we are really loving having him here with us. Thanks for everything. Here are a few pictures of Lupin making friends with 100 lb Bosco, and his best buddy Madeleine.
Everyone is amazed at his sweet and gentle nature, he is so eager to learn and has completely stolen our hearts. I can't imagine ever finding a better little guy to be a part of our family. Many thanks to the SPCA.
Update December '08 ... Here is an update on Lupin the wonder dog, the LiebaHund extraordinaire. He is still an angel dog, extremely bright and always willing to please. He is enamoured with the 2 cats, Elly Belly and Waldo; the former tolerates him, the latter unfortunately despises him. But it doesn't get him down, he still wags for Waldo.
He is incredibly gentle, rarely barks, loves to swim, runs with me on country roads and cross country skis on the Mississippi river. We have developed a deep connection that inspires complete confidence in one another and fills each day with joy. He is truly a dream dog.
