I recently
adopted the beautiful, chocolate-point Simon! He is gorgeous and
healthy and so loving.
I have
renamed him Loki, for the Mythical Norse God of Mischief. The name
seems to fit and it sounds a little Asian.
We have
definitely bonded and already if I have to go out, he comes running to
meet me at the door. He is eating well and using his litter like a
pro. His hygiene is great and he "talks" non-stop to me in that
familiar Siamese way! He sleeps between the two pillows on my bed at
night and cuddles closer when the room is cool.
I have
numerous "toy stations" set up for him around the apartment and he
plays ferociously with any and all of them. I think my three adult
sons are planning on a "cat tree" for him for Christmas.
I am still
struggling a bit with clipping his claws but have managed so far. My
previous Siamese wasn't too partial to this either. He has an
appointment with our vet on December 8 and I thought I would ask for
some pointers about clipping.
I have
attached a recent photo for you. Thank you for the wonderful
experience with the SPCA of Western Quebec; I would not hesitate in
calling you again.
