My name is Leroy Brown ... well, that is my adopted name. I was Leroy Wilson before my life changed for the better. SPCA rescued me in May '09 and brought me to my foster parents.
One of my foster parents, Jessica, always wanted a pug and so she fell in love with me right away. After many weeks of convincing her parents, she got to keep me.
In the last five months, I have gotten to walk on grass for the first time, look up at the sun, walk with my halter on, ride in my car seat, go swimming in the Atlantic Ocean, eat lots of Benny Bullies, sleep on the lawn chair, and dig lots of holes at the beach. I also get to chew toys, and mark my territory all around the neighbourhood!
My Uncle Sam (the owner's Chinese Shar-pei) told me that this is how a dog should live! He has taught me to kick and shake after I pee. And he's in the process of teaching me how to play with other dogs ... though sometimes I'm still a little nervous.
I love my new life with my new
family and I want to thank the SPCA for rescuing me!
