I just wanted to send a quick update to let you know how I've been and thank you all for everything that you did to help me stay safe while awaiting adoption.  I have been with my new family for about 6 months now and celebrated my first birthday in October. 

I am growing and learning new things every day.  I have had many new adventures including a car trip to the east coast to meet new family members but the best part of the trip was camping and laying on the beaches of Prince Edward Island. 

I have made a lot of new friends in the neighbourhood and at the off leash dog parks - one of my favourite places to go close to home.  I have also enjoyed much fun at our friend's cottage, there is so much open space to run around and go swimming!  I am also just loving the snow that winter brings. 

I get a little anxious in my crate when my owners leave and have had some destructive chewing, but we are all working very hard to help me feel more comfortable when I'm alone.  You would never believe it, but I ran into my sister on the street where I live.  What are the odds?!  Her grandma lives on my street, and I found out that my mix is a german shepherd and bernese mountain dog. 

Well, I really wanted to thank you again for all your hard work and the love you provide each one of us while waiting for adoption.  I am truly grateful for each one of you.
