| Kadi & Sienna

 We adopted Kadi from the Aylmer SPCA two years ago in October when she was 1.5 years old. She is a wonderful dog. Incredibly intelligent and spirited with loads of energy, she is perfect for our active lifestyle. Kadi enjoys going hiking or snow shoeing every day in the Gatineau Park behind our house in Chelsea. She loves going in the canoe and with her new life jacket is learning to appreciate swimming on a hot summer day.
Kadi was a bit toy possessive and not sure with kids but with some careful training and socialization she now comes to us with her toys to engage us to play and has spent a number of happy camping weekends surrounded by kids. She even dragged an old weathered moose bone out of the woods. She is a wonderful companion in all our activities.
Kadi was very gentle even from the first day with our 15 year old cat Sienna whom we adopted at the Aylmer SPCA 14 years ago. …now that’s a happy tail! Sienna has been a playful, affectionate cat from the beginning. She loves nothing better than to curl up in my lap and purr.
