We adopted Jammy (formerly Giza) on July 22, 2015. Just thought I'd share this portrait of her that my partner painted almost immediately. She is a stunner. She is now well socialized with our other cat Hobbes, and our two dogs, Pax and Jester. One big happy family.
Update November '15 We adopted Jami in the summer. Her name at the time was Giza. Not only is she getting along famously with her feline brother, Hobbes, she also turned out to be something of an ambassador, and both cats and our two dogs now intermingle freely, which hadn't been happening before she arrived and charmed the dogs. She changed the dynamic in our house for the better, by far. She's awesome!
Update January '16 Jami is still doing great. Very vocal and active. She's a real gift to us all.
