Last Friday we adopted little Katie from you! We spotted her on your website and fell in love with her right away. We had been looking for a sister for our other shepherd Nila. Looks like she is the perfect fit for our family! Since coming home with us Katie has been nothing but fun! We have renamed her Izzy! Busy Izzy to be exact. She is full of beans, and still requires some basic training but is so smart she is picking up commands very quickly.
Izzy and Nila have become best buds just as we had hoped. They each have their own bed and sleep right next to each other...next to our bed of course! Izzy and Nila enjoy walks everyday in the woods. We are amazed at Izzy's re-call! She runs free in the parks with us, and is always checking to make sure we are keeping up! They also enjoy hours of play together in the snow in the backyard. Their favourite game is tug-a-war. Yesterday they found an empty wrapping paper roll and destroyed it together out in the backyard! It was quite funny to watch.
Izzy has turned out to be the perfect addition. We are looking forward to spending Christmas with her and our family. And of course both girls have a toy waiting under the tree for Christmas morning. We have attached a few pictures from her first week with her new family.
