To the folks at the SPCA in Aylmer,
Hunter is settling in nicely at his new home. We spend lots of time
outside on our front lawn and everyone walking by stops to pet him.
Practically the whole neighbourhood knows him by name and comments on
how fast he is growing. He also loves being at the cottage where he
gets to run around and roam free. He went swimming for the first time
on the long weekend and loves the water.
He is a very playful and confident puppy who has already made many
friends, including his friend Norman (I've included a picture of the
two of them).
We are adjusting to the early morning wake-up times but seeing his
furry little face makes it easy to get out of bed. So far the crate
training is going well and he's even started sleeping through the
night which is great. He is still learning to walk on his leash but
we are trying our best to get him walking to the park. Hopefully the
puppy school will help with this - Hunter starts Puppy Kindergarten
this summer.
I hope his brothers and sisters are doing as well as he is. Hunter is
a great addition to our family and we're excited to see him growing
and learning all the time.
Take
care,
Allison and Sean
