My husband, Bruce, and I adopted Heidi from you when she was 8 months old! She will now be turning 8 years old in February of 2018!!!! We cannot believe it. She has been such an amazing and huge part of our family and has a GIANT personality. This photo is of her wanting to play ball early in the morning just a couple months ago. She dropped it in my coffee cup to make sure I threw it. Even as she gets older, the puppy in her always comes out. We lived in Ottawa when we adopted her and moved back to our hometown in St. Catharines shortly after. We could not imagine our life without her and she has sure kept us on our toes since the first day we brought her home. She was about 40 lbs when we adopted her and is now 80 lbs. She doesn't miss a meal and she makes sure to tell you when it is time for breakfast or dinner. She loves being active and hiking and swimming! She also thinks all 80 lbs of her is a lap dog! Both of our parents (Heidi's grandparents) love having her go for visits while we are at work so that she can run and play for the day with them. I hope you remember her! We kept her name the same as you named her as it just suits her! Her full name is Heidi Grace McIntosh! Yes, we are those people that middle name their dogs haha.
