          Gypsy is a male cat
approximately 2 years of age.  We didn't plan on adopting,
however after reading his past history and his fight for survival
after being abandoned in Nov/Dec 06 and suspected of eating antifreeze
we couldn't resist.  He had kidney failure and given a 50-50
chance of recovering; he pulled through was given a clean bill of
          health.

          After his arrival
at his new home it was only a matter of minutes before he was sitting
in my lap craving for attention.  After a couple of days the
kitten in him started to show.  We purchased a few toys for him
which he hasn't yet taken to.  His favourite play thing is a
crumpled up ball of tin foil which he bats around the house.  We
purchased a window perch for him and he sits for hours looking out the
window.  We also purchased a tower house which he took to
immediately.  We placed it in the family room where he proudly
sits (when not on our lap) and watches his new family.

          We are very happy
with our decision of adopting him as he has given us much pleasure in
the short time he has been with us.  We are now thinking of
adopting another cat of the same age to be a companion for him.

Sadly, Gypsy has passed away and is now remembered
          on our Rainbow Bridge page.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Gypsy's family.
