We adopted Boom Boom (now Finnegan) and Sneakers (now Maggie) in May 2011 and we have been enjoying their company ever since.  Although they're quite different in their personalities, we think they make a great pair; they have fun chasing each other around and we often come home to find them cuddled up together.  

They've taught us that anything and everything can be a toy - so we've had to get creative while cat-proofing our home.  The pendulum clock continues to intrigue them and we often hear nails scratching the walls as they try to catch it in the wee hours of the morning.  Their favourite activities are fighting for the window sills, chasing each others' tails, playing hockey with their food and lounging in the bathtub. 

They have both grown up to be strong, healthy, playful cats.  We love them to pieces and are so happy that we chose to get two at the same time.

Update December '15

Maggie and Finnegan are doing really well - they are a big sister and a big brother now! About two years after we adopted them, we added a dog to the family (a Doberman mix from the Ottawa Humane Society) and just this July, the animals got a little human sibling!

Everyone gets along really well and enjoys each others' company. The cats have a shelf by the window and they're usually found there, watching birds and squirrels all day. We love them to bits and can't imagine life without them!
