Copper is doing wonderfully. And he now has a younger Aussie brother,
Scout. The two get along extremely well! Scout is higher-energy and
Copper is very calm, so they balance each other out very well.
Copper is a star, he is great in dog parks, great with kids. He loves
to snuggle on the sofa with us, and loves long walks in the woods, and
wants to come with us wherever we go — he’s extremely bonded.
Here
are a few recent photos.
Hope
all is well and keep up the great work that you do — we are so
fortunate to have Copper in our family.
Update June '20
Copper is a very healthy and happy boy. (He was named Rowdy when we
first met him, but we gave him his new name because of his gorgeous
red fur.) Copper has become the best companion - from our daily hikes
in the forest, to car rides, to lounging on the couch. We have never
seen a dog that enjoys lounging as much as Copper. He is very relaxed
and loving, and even snuggles with his fur-brother Scout.
Copper is very bonded, and I joke that he would probably crawl into my
pocket if he could. He is not much of a swimmer, but he sure loves the
snow. Thank you again for bringing Copper into our lives, and for the
great work that you and the SPCA of Western Quebec do!
