Here are some pictures of Cookie. She is doing very well and is loving her new home. My husband and I couldn't be more pleased to have given such a sweet little dog a 'forever' home. I am a fairly new volunteer to the shelter and being pregnant I couldn't walk the bigger dogs. Well, that was when I met Cookie. She was small enough for me to walk. She just stole my heart.
We recently lost our 10 year old beagle/hound mix Spotty very suddenly March 16. Needless to say I have a soft spot for hounds.
We
weren't quite ready to adopt, but after weeks of no one seeming too
interested in Cookie I couldn't stand it anymore. I had to take
her home!!
I have some new photos of Cookie if you would like to add them to her profile. She is doing well and has been a great 'big sister' to her new baby brother Alexander who was born in June. My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better dog!
Update February '09 ... Cookie is doing very well. She loves Alex and Alex loves Cookie. We all love her! It's really cute. I've attached some pictures of Alex and of Cookie. Dawn
