We adopted
Nibs, now Chibs, three weeks ago. He has since become a member of our
family, joining us for Thanksgiving out of town and participating in
daily life. He loves the park behind our house and has made some k9
friends whom he plays with every evening. He has graduated from being
crated at night and enjoys sleeping on his cozy bed in the master
bedroom with his people.
His vet check up went very well and we treated his giardia with a
course of antibiotics. He's good as new now. He loves to play with his
toys, a duck toy that quacks is his favourite.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to get to know Chibs. It's a
wonderful thing you are all doing for the northern dogs.
Update
January '16
Chibs is doing great! He's adjusted quickly to our home and is such a
wonderful addition to our family. He's loving the snow and only puts
up minor resistance to getting his coat and boots on. He's made many
canine friends as well and is beautifully behaved off leash. He's
fully house trained and we have gotten rid of the belly bands. He's in
perfect health according to our vet with an optimal weight and perfect
teeth!
Update February '16
I
just wanted to brag that Chibs made Pet of the Week at our vet clinic,
Beckwith Animal Hospital. We are very proud!
Update June '16
Hello, and happy summer!
Chibs has been with us almost a whole year now! He's settled in as a
member of the family and has become our daughter's best friend. She
calls him her brother, and they get into all kinds of mischief
together.
Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to finding forever
homes for the animals in your care.
