Brodie has settled in perfectly and is enjoying his new life with his
family. He loves to play with his big brother Trax (also a rescue from
here), and has become quite attached to our son Tye. He and Tye enjoy
playing hockey in the basement, although Brodie sometimes forgets the
rules;) He is affectionate and playful and loves to learn new tricks.
His favorite is giving high fives. We plan to train him to become a
certified Therapy Dog so he can work his magic with the kids at the
school.
Thank you, Spca of Western Quebec, for bringing this beautiful,
loveable Northern Dog from Iqaluit into our lives!
Update May '20
We
adopted Brodie (aka. Milo) 6 months ago and in such a short time we
really can’t imagine not having him in our lives.
His
favorite things to do are play...and play...and play...and play even
more! He also loves to go mountain biking, hike in the bush, chase
tennis balls, cuddle his mama when he gets tired, and wrestle with his
big brother Trax, a 2012 rescue from the Spca of Western Quebec.
Brodie and our 5 year old son are best pals. Where one is, the other
is close by. They do everything together.
Thank you for rescuing him from Iqaluit so that we were able to find
him. His tail never stops wagging and he is loved so much :)
Update October '20
Brodie (Milo, adopted Nov 2019) is an amazing dog and we are so lucky
to have him! He continues to make us laugh and keep us on our toes.
His favorite activity is trail biking. As a Northern Dog, he can run
forever it seems, so this is a fantastic outlet for him! He also LOVES
to swim! When he isn’t playing he is up for a good snuggle. Here are
some recent pics of him:)
Update December ‘20
Brodie (aka. Milo, adopted Nov. 2019) and his little sister Ivy wish
everyone a wonderful, safe holiday season!
