We adopted our little fellow in September 2011. At the time his name was TIC TOC, but my 2 sons decided to change it. After much discussion, they came up with Boots. You can tell by his picture how they came up with that! One of my other sons has another name for him - Smudge - because of the little white mark on his nose. Our family loves animals. We have had a couple of dogs and numerous cats over the years. We have had quite a few Siamese cats. Boots is a new breed called a Snowshoe Siamese. He has all the great qualities of the Siamese, such as being very talkative, but he has these little white paws and a sweet disposition. He was pretty nervous when we brought him home. We have 2 other cats (one of which was adopted at the SPCA a few years ago). His name is Prime and my son has a cat that was given to him and her name is Emma. Emma is a very fussy cat and it will take her awhile to get to know Boots. Prime was a bit jealous, but now they seem to be playing together a lot more. Boots has been a wonderful addition to our family. He is a real sweetheart. When he plays with one of us, he will not dig his claws or teeth into our skin. He seems to know to be gentle. I would recommend to everyone to check out the SPCA when they are considering buying a cat or dog. There are many wonderful animals that would be so happy for you to take them home and love them.
