My boyfriend and I adopted Benji (formerly known as Joey) November 30th 2018. We just wanted to give you an up-date. Benji is doing great and settling in well. He is participating in puppy classes weekly and really enjoys it. He is full of energy and we plan to put him in agility classes in the spring.
Update September '20 Benji is doing great and today is actually his 2nd birthday! He a very energetic and affectionate dog, he loves to cuddle for hours. Benji loves to go for walks and to go to the dog park near our house. He gets along with all of the dogs and is really friendly with other people. At home, Benji mostly gets along with his sister (cat named Peach), but sometimes is a little too crazy for her. Up until recently Benji was very scared of the water, but with some patience and encouragement he now loovvves to swim and this is likely his favourite activity. We are a 2 minute drive to the river and he loves to fetch sticks and is actually a very strong swimmer!
