Here
is some news about Andi, the little black female declawed cat (with
two white hairs on her black moustache).  See the pictures attached,
          you will probably remember her.
          We
are getting along very well.  You might remember that she was not
eating much and that she had epileptic episodes when I got her.  She
changed a lot both physically and mentally.  I tried many different
foods. I finally found a food that she likes.  She now eats normally.
She gained some weight.  Her hair (she was shaved when I got her) is
growing.  She looks much healthier.  Little by little, she learned to
trust me.  She is calm.  She follows me everywhere in the house.  She
even sleeps with me.  You might remember that she didn’t like to be
held in our arms.  She is now asking me to take her in my arms.
          I
bought her four toy mice to play with.  What is very funny is that
during the night, she brings these mice one by one to the door of my
room. And every time she brings a mouse up to my room, she screams to
wake me up.  I guess she wants to tell me that she has a gift for me.
I congratulate her and I pet her to thank her.  She purrs big time.
She is so proud.  Every evening, I hide the four mice on the main
floor of the house before I go to bed.  She always finds them and
brings them to me in the middle of the night.

To
the best of my knowledge, she didn’t have any other epileptic
episodes.  I learned on the internet that cats sometimes become
epileptic when their blood sugar is too low.  Given that Andy was not
eating much when I got her, it might explain why she had these
episodes.  Hopefully, it is the case.  Anyway, touch wood, so far she
          seems okay.
